Length 4.1-4.8 mm, breadth 2.7-3.2 mm.Head: Ferrugineous, anteriorly and posteriorly generally paler medially: testaceous. Foremargin fairly strongly bordered, medially almost straight to straight. Punctation fairly coarse and dense posteriorly somewhat finer, close to pronotum obliterated. Anteriorly fairly distinctly microsculptured, posteriorly microsculpture indistinct and fragmentary, sometimes almost totally obliterated. Frontally at eyes with a shallow, sometimes rather indistinct depression. Antennae testaceous, palpi ferrugineous to testaceous.Pronotum: Almost black to dark ferrugineous to dark brown, generally slightly paler towards sides: ferrugineous to dark testaceous. Punctation indistinctly of two kinds, fairly fine and dense. Discally on each side punctuation lacking. Shiny. Sides almost straight to rounded. Angle between pronotum and elytra almost straight.Elytra: Dark brown to dark ferrugineous, with slightly variable, testaceous markings. Punctation indistinctly of two kinds, fairly fine and almost evenly distributed. Towards sides slightly finer. Elytron with a discal row of a lateral row of punctures, which is often very indistinct. Shiny. Epipleura testaceous, with fine and sparse punctuation.
